Guys & Gulls with Ron Chapman: Emotionally Sober Relationships

  • Unity Renaissance Spiritual Life Center 1120 Eden Way North Chesapeake, VA, 23320 United States (map)

Morning Session ($30): Emotional Sobriety in Relationships
9:00 am to Noon [For Guys and Gulls*]

We hear so much about emotional sobriety in the recovery rooms, and even more about relationships in sobriety. What if the magic is in overcoming expectations and dependencies? What if Bill W. discovered this when he first wrote about emotional sobriety? What if deeper application of the twevle steps is the solution?

Afternoon Session: What's A Guy To Do...Or Be?
1:30pm to 3:00pm [For Guys Who Attend The Morning Session]

So, if there's a solution, and they are not it, and likewise, they are not the problem, now what?

For both sessions, the fee is $50. Seating is limited so make sure you visit www.gullfriends.org for more information and purchase your tickets. If you have any questions about the workshop, please contact Amy Smithers at chairman@gullfriends.org or 571-242-4434

*Deo Volente Gulls - Proceeds benefit DV Gulls' programs for women in recovery. The Gulls host two major retreats each year at which 100+ women gather to celebrate recovery and maintain a beautiful house in Carrolton, NC available for individual and group retreat year round. In support of the Gulls, Ron Chapman has agreed to host an Emotional Sobriety Workshop focusing on healthy relationships with a “Men Only” breakout in the afternoon.
